Minara Chamber of Commerce hosted a webinar recently on business succession and protecting your family rights. Panel speaker Faizal Suleman (CA) (SA) explained the importance of an information file that should contain all your important passwords to devices, brokers and policy details, all important information that your family will require upon your demise or unforeseen health conditions that will be required for your family to gain access to information that they will require for legal and financial procedures. Faizal Suleman has created a list on behalf of Minara Chamber to assist you on what information should be included and this file should be kept with a trusted individual, your lawyer or accountant that would be provided to your family.
We trust that this will assist many families.
As Salaamu Alaikum (Peace and Greetings)
Dear Members / Partners/ Guest speakers
The year 2020 has indeed been a year of change, challenges, and economic strain for many industries.
However the pandemic has also created an increased awareness on the need to move to digital as many of us had to go digital to continue operations.
The need for digital education and programmes to assist businesses both SMME'S and established will be a great focus in the new year and assist many to recover from the pandemic effects on business operations through supporting partners and experts.
Thankfully, with the support of our membership and volunteer professionals we have managed to carry on operating by continuing with online webinars and support initiatives throughout this year and have moved through this challenging time.
Our offices will close from the 14 December 2020 and reopen on the 5 January 2021.
We wish you a safe holiday and request all to continue to practice safety and hygiene precautions as each of us play a role in minimising the spread of this virus for a more productive 2021 and rebuilding our lives and businesses.
